Continental SYS Design Engineer in Zvolen, Slovakia

Be the part of global engineering team, responsible for the development of brakes to WW market;

Definition, planning and coordination of brake system development according to customer requirements in system area;

Perform the analysis of customer requirement, communicate the outcome with customer;

Review system requirements with affected disciplines (hardware, software, mechanic) including the functional safety and security and privacy aspects;

Definition/Review of system architecture together with support of system architect;

Ensure that product development is performed according to automotive functional safety standards;

Technical coordination for realization of product function(s) in cooperation with project manager and system engineering team;

Support the engineering team with development activities.

Second level of Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification;

Experience in development of products within the automotive industry;

Working experience in a project development;

Experience with functional lead of a development team;

Knowledge of processes, methods and tools (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody) in the areas of "Requirement Engineering" and "System Architecture" is advantage;

Knowledge about ASPICE compliant development is advantage;

Basic knowledge on technical risk analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA);

Basic knowledge of the functional safety standards in automotive (e.g. ISO 26262);

English language skills (written and spoken);

Ability to work in an international team with respect to cultural differences;

System Mindset and ownership are expected;

Good communication skills.
