Continental Development Engineer in Praha 9, Czech Republic
Product Line Washer Systems is a leading supplier in product area of washing components. The Product Line serves customers worldwide as supplier for components or entire systems to clean front and rear windshields, headlamps, cameras and sensors. Production and R&D facilities are operative worldwide and are supporting customer projects from built-to-print to system engineering.
Development of components and systems (liquid and air) for windscreen
washers, camera and sensor cleaning and headlight cleaning
Independently work out basic knowledge that is necessary for developing
new products
Active communication with suppliers and customers during development
Prototyping and determining functionality in the lab and/or at customer sites
Scheduling and performing development related tests and qualifications
according to internal and customer requirements
Measurement of electrical and non-electrical physical quantities that are
relevant in the development of products/systems
Analyzing, documenting and presenting test results
Definition of necessary changes to optimize the product/system and make it
ready for use according to customer needs
Creation of test procedures and specifications
Actively working in international project teams during development and
aquisition
Travel to suppliers/customers for technical discussions or test trials
University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
Professional experience in the development area and/or test laboratory,
ideally in the automotive sector
Good theoretical and practical knowledge of measuring electrical and non-
electrical physical quantities
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
