In your role as RnD Compound Development Group Leader in Passenger Light Truck (PLT) area you are responsible to ensure the availability of an optimized and best in class material portfolio (performance, sustainability, and cost) based on customer requirements for all products worldwide.

In this function your tasks are:

  • Organization and planning of the development, validation, and implementation of required compounds to establish agreed product performance in time

  • Steer the flawless introduction of required technologies in best cooperation with all required functions

  • Building and extending know-how regarding compounding considering recipes and performance-relevant processes and documentation thereof in the compounding design guide ensuring optimized and robust product performance

  • Support continuous transfer and implementation of new technologies and raw materials into portfolio compounds by improving technology understanding

  • Steer all quality related processes to ensure the highest quality for our customers in cooperation with Quality Management and other required functions

  • Leading of complex projects in the field of compound portfolio development

  • Initiate and implement Value Leadership activities within the compound portfolio

  • Lead and develop a highly qualified team while ensuring continuous learning of all required competences needed for today’s and future development processes

  • Academic degree in Chemistry or Physics Engineering, or natural science related fields

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of material development

  • Project leading experience

  • Leadership Experience (preferable)

  • Intercultural competency along with clear and open communication abilities that support the growth of diversity

  • Strong problem-solving ability as well as strength to bring topics forward

  • High customer focus and excellent interface management competence

  • Capability to lead cross functional teams

  • Solid computer skills and Office tools;

  • English language skills (written and spoken);

  • Availability for travelling.
