Within our exciting R&D environment, we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) for our Applied Material Science team, which is responsible for the evaluation of new, innovative and sustainable materials in our rubber compounds for later tires production.

The job is situated in Hannover-Stöcken, but can also be done remote anywhere in Germany with occasional trips to Hanover.

We are offering a working student position start in September 2024. Ideally, this position should be filled for the next 12 months with a working time of 20 hours per week.

Your tasks will include the following activities:

  • Evaluation of new innovative and/or sustainable materials in rubber compounds for the later use in tires

  • Preparation of summaries, reports and presentations for our group

  • Patent and literature searches

  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including chemists, physicists and compound developers

  • Currently, pursuing studies in Natural Sciences or other related fields

  • Good networking competencies

  • Innovative and visionary spirit

  • Very good English language skills, written and spoken

  • Motivation to work with sustainability related topics and for research topics
