Continental Lead Sustainability Fundamentals, Principles and Standards (m/f/d) - REF53785B in Hannover, Germany

Central hub of expertise on sustainability fundamentals
Continuous monitoring and interpretation of sustainability regulations, requirements, accounting and reporting standards (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GDDL/LkSG)
Definition & documentation of interpretations and clearing of application of sustainability regulations, requirements, accounting and reporting standards
Outreach to regulators and standard setters on existing and upcoming regulations
Representation of Continental in relevant formats (e.g. conferences), memberships and associations
Ensure alignment of interpretations and their application with relevant Group Functions (e.g. Accounting and Law), Group Sectors and external assurance providers
Preparation of relevant material for oversight by Executive Board and Supervisory Board
Coaching and training of relevant functions
Active participation in associations (e.g. econsense, DRSC, etc) and other external formats related to accounting principles
Support of the annual reporting process regarding sustainability reporting fundamentals
Actively contribute to the successful implementation of Continental's sustainability ambition
Academic degree in relevant area
Several years of professional and/or academic experience with sustainability
Profound expertise in relevant areas of sustainability fundamentals, regulations, requirements, accounting and reporting standards including CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, GDDL/LkSG, Corporate Governance Code (DCGK), German Commercial Code (HGB), Financial Accounting (esp. IFRS) and sustainability standards like ISSB, TCFD, GHG Protocol, GRI, etc.
Experience regarding regulations management, regulatory affairs, assurance processes, traceability and audit trails, controlling processes, data management or corporate reporting
Experience in a matrix organization and in managing different stakeholder interests
Business Fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken)
Highly iterative and structured workstyle
Strong analytical capabilities
High motivation for constant learning
