Sr Staff Embedded Software Engineer (Developer) - BNC
Continental VNI Central Engineering is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer willing to grow his/her career in the Automotive industry, with logical approach to coding, Quality mindset and good C language skills. This individual will be working, in a multicultural envionment, analyzing requirements, designing, developing, integrating, and testing SW components in a real time environment for various ECU's such as Body & Network Controllers
The applicant will have the opportunity to be exposed to and develop skills in various areas like Flash Over The Air (FOTA), Cybersecurity, Ethernet, Gateways, and multi-core programming.
He will use established processes, as well as agile methods and tools, while becoming an active participant in interdisciplinary, multi location teams with top notch technologies, knowhow and a strong focus on quality.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
Excellent knowledge of embedded Systems and software development processes (at least 3 years of experience)
Experience with automotive diagnostic protocols (UDS)
Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture
Good knowledge of configuration/change management and software development tools
Good knowledge of microcontroller technology
Proficient C language coding skills following MISRA
Analytical, planning and organization skills
Structured problem solving skills
Proactive and collaborative attitude
Great communication skills.
Good language skills (English – required), Understanding of the customers and users needs and problems.
Agile (SAFe) knowledge
DOORS for Requirements Engineering
Experience with Vector tools (CANoe)
AUTOSAR development tool experience (Vector DaVinci, EB Tresos, AutosarBuilder, etc)
Model Based Development using Matlab
Automotive Industry Experience
