Our Auburn Hills, MI location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join the Safety and Motion Team. Responsible for customer related programs within entire life cycle, acquisition through end of production. The ideal candidate has Automotive experience in Engineering or Customer Projects.

▪ Act as domain expert for hardware, IT, SW & full solution

▪ Internal preparation of inputs, equipment, stakeholder information, etc.

▪ Identify & understand key parameters of customer requirements and find a suitable solution (incl. IT architecture) from our portfolio

▪ Lead IT integration of main systems (FMC, ERP, etc.)

▪ Define the solutions elements of a demo system with focus on quick, simply and customer centristic set-up

▪ Lead technical demos or POCs at partner or customer facilities

▪ Act as consultant for Sales and customers to identify hot leads and provide technical solutions

▪ Ensure superior customer experience incl. consultancy, demos, intgration and lifecycle service

▪Create and continously improve a deployment guideline to simplify customer/partner onboarding and enhance quality through standardization

▪ Act as Level 1 and 2 support for system failures

▪ Representing the regional business towards internal & external stakeholders

▪ Support decision upon the right global product roadmap by including the market view into the decision

▪ Ensure local for local approach with the regional requirements

Basic Qualificiaitons:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Field

  • Minimum 5 years of Automotive experience in Engineering or Customer project teams

  • Ability to develop and maintain global product roadmaps

  • Strong understanding of market data and trends

  • Able to act as a consultant with internal and external audiences

  • Knowledge and experience in automation, IT integration, and software solutions

  • Intercultural experience or experience with international project teams

  • Manufacturing Electronics experience

  • Ability to travel 10% - 20% domestically and internationally annually

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 years of Automotive experience in Engineering or Customer project teams

  • Master's degree in an Engineering field

  • Experience working with AMR ( Autonomous Mobile Robots)

  • Experience working with Automotive and nonautomotive customers

  • Understanding of logistic processes and our AMR solution

  • Managing Complexity for customer projects
