THE POSITION
As a IBM ELM (Jazz) Application Specialist you are responsible for the following topics:
Develop, roll out and maintain IBM ELM solutions to allow our Engineering applications to be operated in the most effective and performant way
Develop, roll out and maintain IBM ELM architectures following the A O IT EA and Conti standards for Service and Application Architecture
Validate latest available technologies, components and tools on the market to operate our current and future Engineering Applications
Design of proof of concepts using components from IBM and other suppliers
Technical leadership of a development and expert team using SAFe and SCRUM methods
Coordinate the IT and Business Requests with the relevant Stakeholders via SAFe@EA and DevOps processes
Support in rollout and version upgrades for our Agile/CI Applications hosted in the cloud
Understand and follow the Conti R&D and IT processes
Work together with a worldwide team from different time zones and from different cultures

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering or 4 years of equivalent experience in Lieu of degree
2+ years of experience in the IT field
Knowledge: (what has to be known)
Functionality/technology/interfaces/data model of Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
Architecture Development Methodologies and Languages relevant for ELM
Understanding of cloud technology and services
Knowledge on ITSM approach or basic knowledge on ITIL framework
Knowledge in SAFe and SCRUM
Capability: (how the knowledge can be used)
Ability to explain IBM ELM technology and services and service models
Collaborate with other Solution Architects and Infrastructure Architects to find opportunities for tools to improve speed, reduce cost, improve flexibility, etc.
Understand the terminology used by IT processes and the meaning of related statements / documentation / references. (eg: IT Service, SLA, Service Incident, Service Change, Service Request, User, etc.)
Align, organize and plan activities and tasks in an Agile way for and with the worldwide team
